Production Engineer

Location: Ipoh, Perak

Responsibility:

 

  • To plan, coordinate and control all raw material, accessories and parts which are required by the superstructure production floor.
  • Candidate shall create a quarterly production schedule and monthly material budget to the Management for review and variance analysis. The candidate should track the production progress and continuously follow up with the purchasing manager in regards to material delivery to avoid production slippage. All engineering and design issues shall be discussed with the design engineer and production supervisor. Final changes, updates and alteration shall be communicated in writing with the latter. 
  • Candidate shall be strong in planning and coordination.
  • Candidate shall observe the production to be executed in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Candidate will prepare material requisition form and ensure material deployment is as per registered.
  • Increase and equalize productivity of different manufacturing section.

    • Requirements:

     

    1.       Candidate shall possess a minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Planning or Industrial Engineering.

    2.       Possess a minimum of three (3) year experience working in a manufacturing environment. Experience in automotive parts manufacturing, welding or shop floor environment is an added advantage.

    3.       Candidate shall demonstrate full commitment and hold the responsibility to minimize production downtime.

    4.       Experience in Welding, Inventory Control and ERP system will be an advantage

    5.       Candidate who are a certified welder is an added advantage.

    6.       Strong in communication and computer literacy.

    7.        Hardworking, dynamic and enjoy challenges.  

     

          8.   Must be willing to work in Ipoh.
